I hope all of the US fans tuned in to and enjoyed the Cartoon Network premier of Ben 10: Alien Swarm. In my effort to cover pretty much anything and everything Ryan, I’ve added a bundle of caps from the film to the gallery as usual. Those of you viewing this entry from our Facebook page will find the pictures here.

It should go without saying that these pictures are heavy in spoilers for those of you overseas who have not seen it yet. The movie was well worth the wait, and I’m sure you guys will enjoy it just as much. For everyone in the US that missed it, catch reairings tonight and Sunday night at 8pm e/p on Cartoon Network.

Finally, don’t forget the DVD and Blu-ray release on December 1st, which includes special features like the music video.

I would also like to point out that this episode is now available on iTunes for those that missed it. And that NBC typically reairs SVU on Saturday nights for anyone that couldn’t park themselves in front of a TV.

As with all of Ryan’s work, I suggest you check it out. It was yet another strong performance, and an amazing one at that. I should point out this is a departure from his typical roles and that’s what makes it all the better. So go see for yourself!

November is going to be crazy! If you read this site at all, or you’re a fan of the Facebook page, you’ve got an idea or two about this, but here comes the flood:

Ryan’s episode of Law and Order: SVU is also airing in November. You might remember the sneak peek pics two entries down. (Don’t be afraid to scroll, we’ll wait for you here.) He plays a heroin addict named Enzo Cook. Keep an eye out for that when DVRing.

The Ben 10 boys and gal — happy birthday Galadriel though I’m sure you don’t read this! — also just finished an episode of Destroy Build Destroy where they take on a team from another Cartoon Network show. Sneak peek pics to be found at the bottom of this post! Once again, more info when I have it.

Finally, still on the Ben 10 front, there are talks about an overseas premier. This could have something to do with the Ben’s 10 Awards that I wrote about in an earlier entry. Nothing solid yet on this news either. Keep your eyes peeled.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot! The gallery is nearing 10,000 full size image views (it’s sitting at 9,998 right now)! You guys are so awesome! And when I say small, I mean small. I’ve uploaded a couple — as in 2 — pictures as a sneak peek of Ryan’s upcoming episode of Law and Order: SVU. Still getting the details on that, and I’ll pass them along as I have them.

As promised, I’ve capped Still Green and uploaded nearly 200 snaps to the gallery. Take a look, but more importantly, go get the darn movie!

I got my copy yesterday with autographs from both Ryan and Georgia Menides, and I can say it’s the first film in a long time that’s really made me think. It’s out today — as I’ve been rambling on about for the past few weeks — and it was well worth the wait.

The two disc set includes a ‘making of…’ and a picture slideshow along with some other nifty features.

Still Green (2007)

Uploaded 209 caps of the Smallville season 2 episode “Ryan” to the gallery. Here’s some fun facts, if you will.

Ryan played the first freak-of-the-week to get a return episode. He was also the first character outside of the Kent household to learn Clark’s secret. Oh yeah, and he officially kicked off the ‘secret’s curse’ by dying. Characters that find out about Clark have an odd habit of having bad things happen to them.

But enough about that, you want to see this.

Prayers for Bobby is a phenomenal, heart-wrenching film based on the true story of Bobby Griffith, a young man who took his own life in desperation because he could not find acceptance from his family after admitting he was homosexual. If there’s one piece of Ryan’s work that I recommend to everyone, this is it.

Ryan took on the role of Bobby, and I felt gave the strongest performance of his career. He came just shy of an Emmy nomination, while the movie picked up two. Currently, Prayers is only available on iTunes (for $3.99), but will have a DVD release to be announced at a later date.

I’ve uploaded 400+ caps from the film to the gallery found here. The initial number was much higher, but I cut out all I could. Some will be repeats as there are flashbacks in the movie.

I got a little overeager with the screencap function in VLC, and as a result, you guys get 133 of them from Smallville’s season 1 episode, Stray. And of course, I got to see the episode again and remember just how much I enjoyed it, so it’s a win-win. You can find the new caps over here.

Next on the menu is season 2 episode “Ryan”. That’ll be up either later today or tomorrow, time permitting. Still weighing options for the banner space up top as well. I will most likely avoid ads, so don’t worry about that. And I have plans for the Bio page y’all will love to see. Busy busy busy!

Ben 10 Alien Swarm

I’ve uploaded a slew of new photos to various albums, and got some empty albums in place for the upcoming updates. Work for today is most likely done, as I managed to find spare time I didn’t think I’d have. Real work on the site continues after the 21st, I swear!

I also want to thank all the awesome people that have been sending photos my way the past few days. You all know who you are. But I do want to take a moment to address something. Every submission is appreciated, but there are a few I try to stay away from. I’ve received a bunch of photos from personal Facebook accounts and things of the like. I won’t be adding them. I feel that if Ryan wanted those photos made public, he’d do it himself.

You will see some candids and things of the sort popping up here and there, but they’ve come from other sites. If you really want to see more of Ryan, just visit his Myspace.
